Brackenhurst: out my front door
Here's a picture of the beatuy outside my front door.
Woke up to 40 degrees and fog. No heater in the cottage. Thank goodness for hot water.
They say it hasn't rained in a while, and it is very dry. Rained all night when I got here. Probably will rain the whole time--and that will be a blessing for Kenyans.
Forgot my umbrella.

No grass huts?
Michael
Nope. These are sturdy concrete-block buildings with metal roofs and plaster walls. Many of them are very old, but they are well-maintained by Brackenhurst staff. I have stayed in grass huts before, with mud walls and no doors. But that ain't this trip.
